Lesley East is a property broker at 5th Avenue Properties where she specialises in the leasing and sale of commercial property. Although working extensively in all the business nodes of Johannesburg her locational responsibility includes Rosebank, Illovo, Dunkeld, Hyde Park and Houghton. Her experience includes the leasing and sale of new and existing office buildings and warehouses, as well as in facilitating the development of custom built properties for specific tenants.

She has almost 20 years’ experience in commercial and industrial real estate having started out at Sandton Development and Finance Corporation in 1997. She then worked successfully at Kesler Corporate Properties for 8 years before joining 5th Avenue Properties, where her extensive industry knowledge and landlord/developer network continues to develop.
